About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Safety Operations Manager to join our team in Louisiana. As a key member of our safety management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with federal and state OSHA requirements, as well as implementing effective safety processes and procedures to minimize risks and prevent accidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor and maintain compliance with safety protocols, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for corrective action.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver training programs on safety procedures and best practices.
  • Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, developing targeted solutions to reduce injury rates and improve overall safety performance.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on safety-related matters, including incident investigations and root cause analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in occupational safety and health, preferably in industrial operations.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, as well as relevant consensus standards (e.g., ANSI, NFPA).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with employees at all levels.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
