About the Role

As a Behavior Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in crafting tailored treatment plans, conducting thorough assessments, and leading our team of behavior technicians. You'll be responsible for providing invaluable training, supervision, and evaluation to ensure the highest level of care for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervision and Leadership: Supervise the implementation of ABA services, showcasing your leadership skills and expertise.
  • Crafting Customized Plans: Develop and monitor behavior support plans and individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs.
  • Analyzing Effectiveness: Compile data and create graphs to assess the effectiveness of treatment plans and skill assessments.
  • Empowering Staff and Parents: Interact with our dedicated staff and provide them with valuable training and support, while also engaging with parents to ensure skills learned are effectively maintained and refined in the home environment.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's of Applied Behavior Analysis program
  • Master's degree in a related field (e.g. psychology, special education) with a certificate program to become Board Certified Behavior Analyst accepted
  • Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA/BCBA-D) and/or ABA State License (LABA) preferred
  • Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst considered
  • Remarkable problem-solving abilities with a knack for identifying and resolving challenges
  • Demonstrated empathy, patience, and compassion for children and families
  • Exceptional clinical skills in conducting functional behavior assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills to drive team success
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of best practices in providing ABA services for children with autism, including familiarity with CASP autism guidelines and state regulations
