Job Summary

About Abrazo West Campus

Abrazo West Campus is a leading healthcare provider in the region, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and improving the health of our community. We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg Telemetry team on a per diem basis, working nights.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide professional nursing care to patients within the Med Surg Telemetry unit, coordinating care planning with other disciplines as needed.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans, utilizing the nursing process and patient-centered care principles.
  • Supervise and direct other healthcare employees in the provision of patient care, utilizing independent judgment and leadership skills.
  • Participate in hourly rounding and observe safety guidelines and safe work practices.
  • May be asked to assume charge nurse responsibilities for a shift or period.

Requirements

  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
  • CPR certification.
  • ACLS certification, as applicable by facility or department.
  • Minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience, including neonatal ventilator experience.
  • Preferred experience in acute care, with certification in specialty area of practice.
