Credentialing Specialist:

The Credentialing Specialist serves as a vital link between our client facilities and internal teams. This role encompasses a range of responsibilities, primarily focusing on the credentialing and re-credentialing processes for healthcare professionals. As an entry-level position, it emphasizes the establishment and maintenance of data within an online credentialing database, as well as monitoring the expiration of licenses and certifications for all medical personnel to guarantee timely renewals.

Key responsibilities include:

● Conducting thorough reviews and precise edits of compliance documentation to be included in a comprehensive compliance package for client facilities.

● Ensuring that all reviewed documents strictly adhere to Cell Staff compliance standards and the specific requirements of the facilities.

● Meeting all compliance deadlines in accordance with client and company specifications.

● Providing exemplary customer service to our clients.

● Coordinating necessary drug screenings, physical examinations, immunizations, and any additional requirements for candidates prior to their assignments.

● Performing background checks.

● Engaging in regular written and verbal communication with recruiters to provide updates on compliance status.

● Collaborating with recruiters to gather missing information or rectify inaccuracies in documentation before submission to client facilities.

● Working across multiple internal departments to manage a significant volume of documents.

● Auditing document information for accuracy and proactively addressing potential errors.

● Identifying discrepancies and collaborating with colleagues to refine documentation.

● Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge base of relevant company, state, and federal regulations to ensure optimal compliance.

● Assisting the Credentialing Manager and Assistant Manager with special projects as needed.

● Ensuring that all active staff remain compliant and maintain current required credentials.

● Sending welcome packages to all external new hires.

● Performing any additional duties as assigned.

Required Education:

● Bachelor's Degree -OR- Associate Degree with 2+ Years of Experience in Customer Service, Healthcare Staffing Compliance/Credentialing, or Related Fields.
