We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Unit team on a part-time basis. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Assessment and Care Planning: Assess and evaluate patients' physical, psychosocial, environmental, spiritual, social, and educational needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with the healthcare team to achieve desired patient outcomes, and communicate patient information to colleagues and caregivers as needed.
- Leadership and Guidance: Provide daily direction and guidance to Licensed Practical Nurses and Nurse Assistants, and facilitate learning opportunities to meet the educational needs of patients and families.
- Adaptability and Flexibility: Be flexible with schedule and hours, and support staffing needs for patient care in multiple units as needed.
- Education and Licensure: Current RN licensure in the state of Iowa, Associate Degree in Nursing or graduate from an accredited RN program required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
- Experience and Certification: Previous experience in acute care preferred, preferred certification in CCRN.
