Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Stepdown Registered Nurse to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Cardiac Stepdown RN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and effective communication.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and empowering them to take an active role in their care.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and educational opportunities, staying up-to-date on best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, fostering a culture of teamwork and respect.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Iowa or qualified multi-state license.
  • Graduate of an accredited RN program.
  • Previous experience in acute care preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
