Job Summary

Applewood Centers is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Program Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our residential treatment program, you will be responsible for providing administrative supervision, direct support, and therapeutic interventions to our clients and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative supervision to the program, including scheduling, obtaining coverage, safety, evaluation, and disciplinary actions of staff.
  • Provide direct support to both staff and clients, including instructional, therapeutic, and recreational activities.
  • Participate in required staff training programs and complete all program and/or clinical documentation of clients' responses to the milieu, group, or individual intervention and progress on individual goals.
  • Exhibit teamwork and professionalism by example and actions in all areas of management, including client-family contracts, collaboration with others, communications, and relationships with external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in social work or a related field.
  • Prefer current license in the state of Ohio (e.g., LPC, LPCC, LSW, or LISW).
  • 2-3 years of experience working with children with behavioral health needs and their families.
  • Flexible schedule to include some evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
  • Responsible for carrying agency-provided cell phone and maintaining an on-call schedule as assigned.
  • Strong clinical skills, including expertise in systemic family therapy, crisis intervention, family education, behavioral interventions, and substance abuse therapy.
  • Ability to perform job responsibilities with a high degree of initiative and independent judgment.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using Agency computer systems and software as required for performing essential job functions.
  • A valid driver's license with an approved driving record (less than 6 points), personal transportation, and insurance, if required to drive on behalf of the agency.
