Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and caring Caregiver to join our team at Senior Helpers of North-Central Indiana. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients, assisting with daily living activities, and promoting their overall well-being.
Responsibilities- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other daily living activities as assigned.
- Provide Companionship and Emotional Support: Engage in conversation, recreational activities, and provide emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
- Perform Household Tasks: Assist with meal preparation, tidying up, and other household tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Caring and Compassionate: You must be a caring and compassionate individual who enjoys helping others.
- Willingness to Learn: You should be willing to learn new skills and adapt to the needs of our clients.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, or medical assistance is preferred.
- Highly Desired Qualifications: Certification as a CNA, PCA, RN, LPN, LVN, or HHA is highly desired.
