Inside Sales / Counter Sales Position

We are seeking a dedicated Inside Sales Representative to enhance our sales team.

About Allied Supply Company Inc:

Established in 1935, Allied Supply Company Inc is a prominent, family-owned wholesale distributor specializing in Air Filtration, Control Systems, HVACR Parts/Equipment, and Refrigeration Products.

Role Overview:

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for:

  • Processing customer orders and providing quotations through various communication channels.
  • Acting as a liaison between customers, internal teams, and manufacturers.
  • Offering technical support to customers and team members.
  • Developing new customer relationships and expanding sales within the existing customer base.
  • Highlighting product features and benefits, preparing sales orders, and quoting prices.
  • Supporting Outside Sales Representatives as needed.
  • Participating in training sessions and professional development opportunities.
  • Attending sales meetings to discuss targets and market conditions.
  • Managing order changes and cancellations while coordinating with relevant departments.
  • Ensuring customer service is informed about order statuses to meet delivery commitments.
  • Engaging in industry conferences to enhance expertise and network.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to maintain physical activity throughout the work shift, including standing, bending, lifting, and other movements.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills; experience with CSD & Outlook is a plus.
  • Excellent sales and time management abilities.
  • Dependable with a strong attendance record.
  • Creative problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of HVACR systems preferred.
  • Two years of experience in a wholesale environment.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
