Blood Collection Specialist

At Destinationone Consulting, we are seeking a skilled Blood Collection Specialist to join our team. As a Blood Collection Specialist, you will be responsible for drawing blood from patients for testing, transfusions, or donations. Your primary goal will be to ensure patient comfort and safety during the procedure.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform venipunctures and capillary collections accurately and safely.
Prepare and label blood samples for laboratory testing.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Educate patients about the blood collection process.
Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; certification in phlebotomy preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and empathy.
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
