Your Responsibilities as an Operations Management Leader
• Develop, maintain, and update project documentation
• Manage program tasks as assigned by the supervisor
• Organize and maintain both physical and electronic program files
• Communicate with customers to gather project-specific information
• Estimate revenue and customer costs using provided tools and collaborate on estimates
• Ensure stakeholder engagement and approval
• Complete project close-out in accordance with company standards
• Track weekly accruals and submit reports at week’s end
• Coordinate work schedules and crew arrangements with the scheduler
• Review subcontractor invoices for accuracy and production confirmation
• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable and Billing to ensure accurate revenue reporting
• Forecast project timelines and budgets
• Create purchase orders and manage design reviews
• Work with internal support teams to establish projects in the accounting system
• Identify and eliminate obstacles to empower operational success
• Continuously monitor project progress, risks, and customer experience quality
• Oversee project activities including critical path monitoring, procurement, and resource management
• Proactively address potential issues before they escalate
• Report on project status to all stakeholders
• Assess change impacts and delays
• Manage material forecasts to ensure timely and budget-friendly project execution
Qualifications Required
• Must be 18 years or older
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Previous experience in telecommunications construction, particularly in outside plant facilities
• 3-5 years of experience managing construction crews
• In-depth knowledge of telecommunications construction standards
• 5+ years in delivering Construction Telecommunications services or related utility industries
• Proven experience in managing contractors and coordinating multi-site projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Self-motivated and driven to succeed
Technical Proficiency
• Proficient in MS Office Suite: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS Project
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
