Position Overview

The Lead Maintenance Supervisor is an essential role within our organization, responsible for overseeing and inspiring a maintenance team to meet property-specific objectives in the multifamily sector. This position is ideal for seasoned maintenance professionals eager to enhance their expertise with a company that equips them with the necessary tools for success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the maintenance team to ensure timely repairs and upkeep of property facilities and apartment units.
  • Provide prompt and courteous responses to service requests from residents.
  • Maintain a sufficient inventory of market-ready apartments to satisfy leasing demands.
  • Ensure the property’s appearance consistently meets or exceeds established standards.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of maintenance staff, which may include painters and landscaping personnel.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED along with a minimum of five years of experience in multifamily property management, facility maintenance, or mechanical repair, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional qualifications include:

  • Required HVAC experience.
  • Possession of an EPA Type II or EPA Universal license.
  • For specific locations, a CAMT license is required at the time of hire or by the next available examination opportunity.
  • A valid driver's license from the state of residence.
  • 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience is preferred.
