Job Summary:

Grubb Properties is seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join their team at Link Apartments Grant Park. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing all phases of maintenance related to work orders, preparing apartments for occupancy, and implementing preventative maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and maintain all HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems in the buildings.
  • Assist the Service Supervisor with the quality and efficiency of turning vacant apartments into make-ready apartments.
  • Ensure that residents are provided with a clean, safe, and well-maintained community.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting, cleaning, and preparing apartments for occupancy.
  • Assist with the operation and maintenance of the pool and pool area.
  • Complete all work orders within a 24-hour time frame.
  • Adhere to all personnel directives and safety requirements.
Requirements:
  • Two to five years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry.
  • Must have HVAC certification and a Certified Pool Operator license.
  • Pleasing personality and ability to work with residents.
  • Good mechanical skills and organizational abilities.
