Facility Information

Gateway Rehab is a specialized inpatient rehabilitation facility dedicated to providing comprehensive rehabilitative services for individuals recovering from various disabilities due to injuries or illnesses. Our mission is to assist patients in regaining their physical and cognitive capabilities, enabling them to return home with maximum independence. As a smaller, focused facility, we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment where you can build meaningful relationships with patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapy Assistant will work closely with the Physical Therapist to deliver effective Physical Therapy services to patients. This includes executing treatment plans, participating in program development, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring effective communication. The role operates under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and adheres to physician directives.

Required Qualifications:

A valid and active license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the respective state is mandatory. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider is required.

Additional Skills and Qualifications:

Preferred experience of at least one (1) year, with previous hospital experience being advantageous. Professional demeanor and appearance. Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance protocols. Strong organizational, prioritization, and analytical abilities. Capability to make independent decisions when necessary.
