Job Summary

MUSC Health - Florence is seeking a skilled Traveling Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation team. As a Travel Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the Inpatient Rehabilitation unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
  • Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote excellent patient care.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina or a compact state.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Inpatient Rehabilitation setting.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Ability to work a 3x12 hour shift schedule, including every other weekend.
  • Ability to float to other units as needed, including Inpatient Detox and Med/Surg units.
