About the Role

The Communications Specialist plays a vital role in leading the marketing and communication efforts of Cook Children's Health Foundation. This position is responsible for helping to develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the Foundation's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote the Foundation's mission and goals
  • Collaborate with the Foundation team, as well as Cook Children's Marketing and Public Relations departments, to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Manage and maintain the Foundation's social media presence, including creating and scheduling posts, responding to comments and messages, and analyzing engagement metrics
  • Develop and edit marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and other promotional materials
  • Assist in the planning and execution of events and campaigns, including developing promotional materials and coordinating logistics
  • Provide exceptional writing, leadership, and project management skills to ensure successful completion of projects and tasks
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of related work experience
  • Exceptional writing, leadership, and project management skills
  • Experience with social media management, video production and editing, and graphic design
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
