Correctional Case Records Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Correctional Case Records Analyst to join our team at the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of inmate release and discharge dates, as well as maintaining and controlling inmate/parolee records.
Key Responsibilities- Calculate and modify inmate release and discharge dates, applying credits, enhancements, work credits, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with existing laws and imposed sentences.
- Interpret and apply complex legal directives, as well as process, maintain, and control inmate/parolee records.
- Act as liaison with other units, institutions, and agencies to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- May act as lead person over other Records Office staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a correctional or related field, with a focus on records management and analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply complex laws and policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
This position is located at Mule Creek State Prison, in Ione, California. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. The position requires the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with others, to achieve shared goals and objectives.
