Body Fit Plus Inc is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in a correctional facility in Ione, California. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will provide psychological services to mentally ill inmates, including crisis intervention, group psychotherapy, and face-to-face interviews. You will also be responsible for conducting initial mental health evaluations, assessing inmate needs, and making treatment recommendations.

**Responsibilities:**

* Provide psychological services to mentally ill inmates, including crisis intervention, group psychotherapy, and face-to-face interviews
* Conduct initial mental health evaluations, assess inmate needs, and make treatment recommendations
* Work effectively with staff from all classifications to enhance the quality of professional working relationships
* Identify relevant signs and symptoms of psychiatric disorders to comprehensively assess, diagnose, and manage presenting symptomatology
* Apply psychological assessments in the selection, administration, scoring, and interpretation of psychological tests
* Write clinical reports regarding diagnoses, prognoses, and develop treatment plans that reflect the standard of practice
* Consult on complex cases with supervisor, treatment team members, and with Correctional Facility in California institutional healthcare personnel, and other divisions within the department
* Document all care provided to the inmate, including face-to-face contacts and Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IOTTs) meetings
* Monitor inmate progress using Subjective Assessment Plan Evaluation (SOAPE) FORMATTED PROGRESS NOTES

**Requirements:**

* Twelve (12) continuous months of experience within the last three (3) years rendering direct patient care in public or private institution
* Clinical competencies must be current
* Valid Photo ID, Driver's License or Passport (Required)
* Possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association
* Valid California Psychologist license Hard Copy (Required)
