We are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician to become a vital member of our esteemed Hospital Medicine team at Adfinitas Health.
The hospitalist group is responsible for delivering comprehensive inpatient care, which includes:
- Admitting patients and conducting thorough physical examinations
- Ordering necessary diagnostic tests and interpreting results
- Diagnosing conditions and managing treatment plans
- Performing daily hospital rounds and coordinating discharge planning
All team members are expected to adhere to established protocols for the management and documentation of medical records. Additionally, you will play a key role in achieving departmental objectives while complying with policies, procedures, and quality assurance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely billing for all professional services rendered
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrate strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Commit to delivering exceptional patient care
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine
- Proven inpatient care skills
- Team-oriented with a focus on quality improvement
- Experience collaborating with advanced practice providers
- Active medical license (Maryland or Pennsylvania), CPR certification from the American Heart Association, DEA license, and state-controlled substance registration
