Senior Commercial Electrician

Position Summary

Electrical Production Services, Inc. (EPS) is a well-established commercial electrical contractor with over three decades of experience. We are currently in search of a Lead Electrical Journeyman who will play a pivotal role in our projects. EPS specializes in commercial electrical work, low voltage systems, and fiber optics, serving clients across multiple states.

This role involves interpreting project specifications and ensuring that quality and craftsmanship are upheld from start to finish. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in commercial electrical systems, project management, and team leadership. Experience with low-voltage systems is an added advantage.

Compensation: $40 - $47 per hour based on experience.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the successful execution of assigned electrical projects while maintaining high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
• Review blueprints to fully understand the scope of work and develop effective installation plans.
• Perform various electrical tasks, including conduit installation, wiring, lighting setups, and other electrical applications.
• Adhere to electrical specifications and code requirements, ensuring EPS quality standards are met.
• Coordinate with state and local electrical inspectors during project completion.
• Communicate project details effectively with Project Managers and Sales Teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid MN Journeyman or Master Electrician License.
• Two-year technical degree in electrical construction, project management, or related field, or completion of an accredited apprenticeship program with relevant experience.
• Proven experience in commercial electrical applications.
• Experience in leading a team of electrical apprentices.
• Valid MN Driver's License.

• Ability to lift 20-35 pounds regularly.
• Proficient in the use of tools and equipment, with the ability to train others.
