Senior Commercial Electrician

Position Summary

Electrical Production Services, Inc. (EPS) is a well-established commercial electrical contractor with over three decades of experience. We are currently in search of a Lead Electrical Journeyman to join our team. EPS focuses on commercial electrical work, low voltage systems, and fiber optic installations, serving a diverse clientele across multiple states.

This role involves interpreting project specifications and ensuring exceptional quality and craftsmanship from the start to the finish of each project. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in commercial electrical applications, project management, and team leadership. Familiarity with low-voltage systems is advantageous.

Compensation: $40 - $47 per hour, based on experience.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the successful execution of assigned electrical projects while maintaining high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
• Review blueprints to develop a comprehensive understanding of project scope and create effective installation plans.
• Perform various electrical tasks, including conduit installation, wiring, mounting fixtures, and other related applications.
• Adhere to electrical installation specifications and code requirements, ensuring EPS quality standards are upheld.
• Coordinate with state and local electrical inspectors throughout project completion.
• Communicate detailed project updates to Project Managers and Sales Teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid MN Journeyman or Master Electrician License.
• Two-year technical degree in electrical construction, construction management, project management, or equivalent experience through an accredited apprenticeship program.
• Proven experience in commercial electrical applications.
• Experience managing a team of electrical apprentices.
• Valid MN Driver's License.

• Ability to regularly lift 20-35 pounds.
• Proficient in the use of tools and equipment, with the ability to train others on proper usage.
