Associate Athletics Director, Compliance

Auburn University Athletics is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Athletics Director for Compliance to join our team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the university's compliance with NCAA and SEC rules and regulations, as well as developing policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a compliance system subject matter expert and provide counsel to executive staff, faculty, and others as needed.
- Oversee and supervise the Athletics Compliance staff, ensuring they are well-trained on compliance matters.
- Provide guidance and training to coaches, staff members, and student-athletes on NCAA and SEC rules and regulations.
- Analyze NCAA and SEC rules and regulations, develop procedures, and guide implementation to ensure university compliance.
- Lead high-profile sports programs to ensure compliance and provide advisory support to senior leadership, coaches, and staff members.
- Develop and maintain a compliance policies and procedures manual.
- Review ongoing university activities and plans, determine compliance, and recommend changes as necessary.
- Maintain close contact with SEC and NCAA offices to receive updates on rules and regulations and represent Auburn University at conferences and meetings.
- Research, prepare, and validate reports on program effectiveness and present briefings to committee members and senior executives.
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Administration, Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 7 years of experience in administering a compliance program at the national or institutional level or enforcement program that includes interpreting and applying athletic rules and regulations set by NCAA and SEC.
- At least 1 year of experience supervising or leading staff.
