Content Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Content Manager to join our team at PayJunction. As a Content Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy that enhances our brand visibility, engages our target audience, and supports our marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and refine our content strategy, aligning with our marketing objectives and target audience personas.
- Lead the creation of high-quality content across various channels and formats, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, videos, webinars, and social media posts.
- Manage the distribution and collaborate with our marketing team on promoting content across various channels, including our website, social media, email, etc.
- Monitor the performance of content initiatives using relevant metrics and analytics tools, and continuously optimize content strategies based on insights to improve engagement, conversion rates, and overall effectiveness.
- Ensure alignment of content with our brand voice, messaging guidelines, and overall brand strategy, and maintain consistency in messaging across all content touchpoints.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, product, sales, and customer success, to ensure content supports our overall business objectives and aligns with cross-functional initiatives.
- Establish content governance standards and processes to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and maintain an organized content repository for easy access and reference.
- Work to position our company and its executives as thought leaders in the industry through thought-provoking content, industry insights, and participation in relevant events, webinars, and speaking engagements.
- Stay informed about industry trends, content marketing best practices, and emerging technologies, and continuously seek opportunities for professional growth and skill development to enhance content marketing effectiveness.
- 3-5 years of experience in content marketing or related roles at a B2B company.
- Over 3 years of experience in the payments industry, with an understanding of ISVs/developers and merchants.
- Experience working on small marketing teams with under 10 members, demonstrating the ability to work as an independent contributor.
- Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong experience in the following areas: content strategy and planning, content creation and management, SEO best practices, content marketing, digital media trends, project management, and collaboration.
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) for managing and updating web content.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and familiarity with tools (e.g., SEMRush, Moz, Google Analytics, Google Search Console).
- Experience with email marketing tools and platforms (e.g., HubSpot, MailChimp) for creating and analyzing campaigns.
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot Marketing Automation, Pardot) for automating marketing workflows.
- Knowledge of social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) for scheduling posts and analyzing performance.
- Basic understanding of graphic design principles and tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, Figma) for creating visually appealing content.
- Ability to analyze content performance metrics and interpret data to measure content effectiveness and optimize strategy.
