Gaming Surveillance Specialist

Role Summary: This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and security of the gaming environment, including employees, patrons, and property. The individual will be tasked with monitoring activities to prevent incidents such as theft, fire, and other security threats, while embodying the principles of the GILA WAY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional service experiences to both guests and team members.
• Manage and oversee the operation of the CCTV/CCVS systems to ensure comprehensive surveillance across all gaming and dining areas.
• Regularly check and maintain surveillance equipment to guarantee optimal functionality and coverage throughout the facility.
• Utilize technology and software to document daily activities and observations.
• Report any irregularities or procedural deviations to the surveillance shift supervisor, ensuring thorough documentation for follow-up actions.
• Engage in training to gain proficiency in surveillance technologies, gaming operations, and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in special projects and additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Prior experience in security or surveillance within a gaming context is essential.
• Familiarity with gaming operations, including slots, table games, and cash handling is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening is required.
• A comprehensive background check is necessary prior to employment.
• Willingness to work in environments where smoking is permitted.
• Ability to embody the GILA WAY, which includes greeting, interacting positively, listening, and appreciating guests.
• Excellent customer service skills, strong telephone etiquette, and self-motivation to complete tasks efficiently.
