Job Summary:

Anesthesia Care Provider sought for a dynamic team at UNC REX Healthcare. As a key member of our Anesthesiology department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various medical procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients pre-operatively, developing a comprehensive anesthesia plan and documenting all relevant information.
  • Meet departmental quality metrics for turnover times, on-time starts, and quality improvement submissions.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices.
  • Evaluate problem areas and implement measures to improve patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and legible anesthesia records and reports.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a Nurse Anesthesia program accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
  • Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) in the state of North Carolina.
