Anesthesia Specialist

Job Summary:

Anesthesia Care Specialist at UNC Health provides high-quality patient care in a dynamic and inclusive environment. As a key member of the anesthesia team, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia to patients undergoing various medical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients pre-operatively to develop a comprehensive anesthesia plan.
• Administer anesthesia in accordance with departmental standards of care.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• Completion of a Nurse Anesthesia program accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) in the state of North Carolina.
