About this Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Engineering Co-op to join our Formulation & Packaging team in Omaha, NE. As a co-op at Syngenta, you will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry, tackling real-world problems and developing innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide process engineering support to increase manufacturing capacity, improve safety and quality, and reduce manufacturing costs.
  • Leverage process engineering capability to support production process continuous improvement using operational excellence resources.
  • Support capital project work from scoping through installation under technical supervision.
  • Assist in the design and technical supervision of plant studies and contribute to the design of final project installation.
  • Develop personal skills and ways of working while being mentored by the team.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Petroleum Engineering.
  • Fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prefer a student with a Junior class standing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and plan workload to make optimum use of time.
  • Able to present experimental results and communicate ideas and proposals in a clear, structured, and concise manner.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to the team.
