Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Supervision: Oversee and guide the daily activities of the infusion suite staff, ensuring effective healthcare delivery.
- Staff Development: Conduct performance evaluations, facilitate educational growth, and provide necessary guidance to team members.
- Clinical Coordination: Organize clinical responsibilities and ensure compliance with safety protocols for chemotherapy administration.
- Inventory Management: Maintain and order chemotherapy drug supplies in collaboration with the pharmacy department.
- Quality Improvement: Engage in performance improvement initiatives and gather data to enhance care processes.
- Billing Knowledge: Understand and apply billing and coding regulations to ensure compliance and fiscal responsibility.
Professional Development:
- Participate in ongoing education and professional organizations to stay current in nursing practices.
