Position Overview:
Innova Solutions is seeking a
MEDICAL ASSISTANT to contribute to a dynamic healthcare environment. Candidates should possess or be able to secure Medical Assistant certification shortly after joining.

Employment Type:
Contract to Hire (No C2C - No VISA sponsorship candidates)

Compensation:
$20-$22/hr

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient care, ensuring smooth patient flow and performing various clinical and administrative tasks.
- Welcome patients and their families, manage appointment scheduling, and handle payment processing efficiently.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely communication with the healthcare team.
- Prepare examination rooms and assist in maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Collect and label lab specimens, ensuring compliance with departmental protocols.
- Obtain and document vital signs accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate pre-authorizations and medication reconciliation.
- Uphold safety and regulatory standards while performing all duties.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, and pulling as needed.
- Maintain mobility and dexterity for various clinical tasks.

Environmental Considerations:
- Exposure to various allergens and chemicals, with adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's or Associate Degree preferred.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is mandatory, with a requirement to achieve certification within four months of employment if not already certified.
- Basic Life Support Certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and office equipment is advantageous.
