Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Home Health Occupational Therapist to join our team at Resource 1 Homecare Staffing. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will provide expert evaluation and occupational therapy treatment to patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and document patients' responses to interventions and evaluate measurable progress toward goals.
  • Identify and modify underlying factors that impede progress toward goals and establish teaching plans for patients/families based on their level of knowledge, diagnosis, prescribed treatment, and available resources.
  • Communicate respectfully with patients/families, supervisors, peers, and health teams.
  • Implement effective occupational therapy treatment plans with patients, their families/caregivers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.


Salary and Benefits:
The annual salary for this position is $118,911 - $151,159, which includes mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate and benefits such as medical, dental, and vision choices, generous paid time off, company-paid Short-Term Disability and Life Insurance, and a 403(b) retirement plan with company match (6%).

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have 1-2 years of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist, a license to practice Occupational Therapy in Washington, D.C., CPR certification, a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, reliable transportation, good clinical skills, organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and basic computer skills.
