The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process Engineering Intern to join our CSU - Corn Syrup Team for summer 2025. As a Process Engineering Intern, you will work closely with our Senior Process Engineer to develop and implement process improvements, analyze data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance energy efficiency, chemical usage, product yields, and reliability
  • Analyze historical data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with operations teams to implement changes and monitor key performance indicators
Requirements
  • Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in engineering (Chemical or Mechanical) with sophomore or junior level class standing preferred
  • No previous experience required, but a results-based, goal-focused mindset and natural curiosity are essential
  • Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills, as well as effective communication and collaboration skills
