The Role

We're seeking a highly motivated Process Engineering Intern to join our SPU - Corn Wet Mill Team for summer 2025. As a Process Engineer, you'll work closely with our Senior Process Engineer to drive projects that improve energy efficiency, product yields, and reliability.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct engineering studies and provide designs to support Operations goals
  • Learn and apply process knowledge to improve performance in energy, chemicals, and product yields
  • Collaborate with the team to analyze and monitor key parameters to assist with troubleshooting and meeting costs or production goals
Requirements
  • Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in engineering (Chemical or Mechanical)
  • No previous experience required, but a results-based mindset and natural curiosity are essential
  • Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills

Work Environment

This role spends approximately 50% of the time in an office environment and 50% of the time in the lab/plant environment.
