Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Electrician to join our team at Webber. As a key member of our infrastructure management team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing provincial highway and facility electrical systems, including flashing beacons and lighting systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including high and low voltage power distribution equipment and solar systems.
  • Traffic Signal Control: Set and adjust timing on traffic signal controllers and ensure safe traffic control by setup and removal of traffic control devices.
  • Electrical System Troubleshooting: Use advanced troubleshooting skills to accurately perform maintenance and fault diagnostics required to ensure uninterrupted services to the operating systems.
  • Work Environment: Work in a variety of environments, including extreme heat and cold, and be exposed to wet/humid conditions, high precarious places, fume or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED minimum requirement.
  • Experience: 5 years of demonstrated experience in electrical system and facilities maintenance at Journeyman Level or higher.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid US Driver's License, Master Electrician License, and certification for operation of aerial devices used for electrical work.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to work in a variety of conditions. The physical demands of the job include lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted and using manual and powered pneumatic, hydraulic, gas, and electric powered tools and equipment.
