Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Electrician to join our team at Webber. As an Electrical Systems Manager, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of provincial highway and facility electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including high and low voltage power distribution equipment, solar systems, and electronic message signs.
  • Traffic Control: Set up and remove traffic control devices in accordance with MUTCD standards to ensure safe traffic flow.
  • System Troubleshooting: Use advanced troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair electrical system faults, ensuring uninterrupted services to operating systems.
  • Work Environment: Work in a variety of environments, including extreme heat and cold, and exposure to wet/humid conditions, high precarious places, and fumes or airborne particles.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and use manual and powered tools and equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED minimum requirement.
  • Experience: 5 years of demonstrated experience in electrical system and facilities maintenance at Journeyman Level or higher.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid US Driver's License, Master Electrician License, and certification for operation of aerial devices used for electrical work.
  • Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents, communicate effectively, and work in a team environment.
