Lead Safety and Sanitation Specialist

Job Summary
The safety of our team members, guests, and partners is our top priority. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading all areas of Safety and Sanitation compliance at the location. A health and safety champion with a focus on sanitation and quality standards is ideal for this role.
Detailed Responsibilities
- Ensure all department locations are stocked with cleaning supplies and chemicals, and execute deep cleaning projects as needed.
- Conduct daily standardized QR code surveys to ensure adherence to sanitation standards.
- Coach operational staff to ensure a thorough understanding of all sanitation standards.
- Perform regular department cleaning inspections to continually enhance best practices and address any cleaning issues.
- Clean and organize target areas as needed.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of all safety-related data, including temperature, TPHC, and cooling logs.
- Complete periodic cleanliness inspections and walk-throughs.
- Support the implementation of Levy's safety and sanitation program at the venue.
- Collaborate with the sanitation team and manager to ensure timely completion and tracking of all mandatory safety and sanitation training.
- Work with operations and culinary teams to ensure timely completion and storage of all mandatory records.
- Conduct regular 'Tool-box talk' trainings with hourly team members.
- Work with the partner facilities team to address any joint concerns for team member safety.
- Provide immediate coaching for any team members who are not following correct procedures.
- Assist in the reporting, monitoring, and settling of team members, foodborne illness, liquor liability, and guest claims.
- Work with local OSHA, sanitation, or Steritech inspectors to support inspections or local initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience working in a fast-paced food and beverage environment.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Health/safety background is preferred.
- ServSafe certification or similar is preferred.
- Passionate about safety and sanitation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Well-organized, able to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
