Job Summary

This is a temporary position that is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring the environmental health and safety (EH&S) policies and procedures within the organization and off-site service facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducts comprehensive audits of facilities and processes to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
  • Reviews facility operations and processes to assess compliance with applicable environmental and safety regulations, identifying any potential violations or risks.
  • Conducts EH&S audits, surveys, and inspections, and collects data required by regulatory agencies.
  • Ensures the company operational policies meet regulatory and permit requirements.
  • Ensures appropriate regulatory reports, licenses, permits, and fees are current.
  • Interfaces with regulatory audits, documents response and implements corrective actions where environmental health and safety hazards exist.
  • Ensures new facilities are designed in compliance with environmental health & safety regulations.
  • Complies with safety policies, including participation in and completion of all required safety training.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work-related experience.
  • Three (3) to six (6) years related work experience, preferably in EH&S audits.
  • ISO 14001 Certification Experience.
  • Previous experience in conducting audits of facilities, construction projects, and programs.
  • Working knowledge of general policies and procedures.
  • Strong Customer Relations skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong relationship building skills with ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal colleagues and customers.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and Organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills.
