Job Summary

The Retail Account Manager plays a critical role in driving revenue growth for our consumer sales department. As the local primary point of contact, this role is responsible for communicating with all lead sources, building relationships, and providing resolutions to concerns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Qualify leads based on lead details, type of equipment, and geographic area
  • Schedule qualified leads with the retail sales team
  • Determine when to offer various promotions to customers
  • Develop a thorough understanding of products and service offerings to upsell and cross-sell to clients
  • Provide customer service for all retail sales as required
  • Engage and partner with third-party lead generating teams and sources to promote sales growth
  • Manage, process, and track all incoming leads, following up with open leads
  • Process customer payments
  • Maintain and report weekly and monthly KPIs for big box and retail leads
  • Meet with the Retail Manager to review KPI performance and identify solutions to improve performance
  • Complete required reports and related documents promptly and accurately
  • Ensure the accuracy of all reports and accounting records
  • Continually search for ways to improve results and effectiveness
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols
  • Assist the Retail Manager with certain administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements
  • 1+ years of sales/customer service or related experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Intermediate computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to work overtime with little notice; weekend hours may occasionally be required
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of sales experience within a construction/HVAC or home services environment
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and receiving positive feedback

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift/move up to 20 pounds frequently
  • Frequently performs tasks requiring bending at the waist, kneeling, or crouching
  • Must be able to adhere to long periods of standing, walking, or sitting
  • Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds to operate phones or other office equipment safely
  • With natural or corrected vision, able to see and focus for close, distance, peripheral vision with normal depth perception
  • Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to others
  • Ability to enter text or data into a computer by means of a traditional keyboard or 10-key numeric keypad
  • Must be able to use arms and hands to reach overhead, signal, grab, hold, lift, turn, push, and pull objects and tools
