The Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Account Director Sr to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you'll be responsible for developing new sales opportunities, providing product solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your goal will be to maximize sales for the company by building and maintaining positive relationships with our customers.

You'll introduce our products and services to new and existing customers, develop and maintain accurate sales and revenue forecasts, and manage quota funnels. Your expertise in Edge Compute, Storage, and Streaming & Media solutions will enable you to drive the next wave of digital transformation on our leading Edge platform.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Hunt Edge compute/storage, Streaming/Media opportunities based on selected industrial use cases at targeted Lumen customers and new accounts.
  2. Engage customer's business and operational management, as well as existing ecosystem of vendors and integrators, to position the benefits of Lumen's Edge infrastructure.
  3. Co-sell solutions with selected partners to win Edge/Streaming/Media business.
  4. Actively communicate with Edge Product group to specify priorities and request support on deals.
  5. Drive the sales process with rigor and discipline using Salesforce as the primary tool.
  6. Develop sales in the designated target market(s) by identifying new sales opportunities through cold calling, premise visits, networking, lead generation, proposal submission, and customer appointments.
  7. Develop and manage relationships with acquired and/or existing customers to attain additional business and retain existing revenue.
  8. Learn and develop further knowledge of new technologies and selling points, including enhancing expertise in the company's entire product suite.
  9. Provide comprehensive account plans and strategies to win new business from new and/or existing accounts.
  10. Provide accurate and detailed weekly forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities to meet or exceed sales quota requirements.
What We Look For in a Candidate

We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced sales professional with a proven track record of success in Cloud Solutions, Streaming, and Media sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the telecom industry's competitive landscape and be able to prioritize with good time management skills. Self-motivated, pro-active, and results-oriented, the successful candidate will be able to work with minimum direction and have a strong ability to communicate, both written and verbally.

Proficient in MS Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, the successful candidate will also have a strong understanding of basic Edge/Cloud architecture, SaaS, and Streaming and Media delivery technologies. Ability to converse with business and operations managers about MES, IoT, Analytics, and Augmented Reality and the application of Lumen solutions to shop floor problems is essential.

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

Location-based pay ranges are as follows:

$$in these states: IL, TX, CA, WA.

As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $119,700 - $184,800, based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
