Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a part-time Phone Triage Nurse in our Family Medicine department.
About the Role:This is a 27-hour per week position, working three days per week (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday) from 7:45am-5:15pm. As a Phone Triage Nurse, you will be responsible for handling patient interactions via telephone, providing advice in accordance with clinical protocols, and coordinating proper disposition.
Responsibilities:- Provide phone triage and advice to patients, utilizing clinical protocols and guidelines.
- Coordinate patient care, including scheduling appointments, pre and post-procedure instructions, and test results.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Float to other departments in the WHP system as needed to ensure adequate coverage and support.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in NH required.
- BLS required prior to hire.
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience, preferably in a community-based ambulatory setting.
