Banquet Administrative Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Banquet Administrative Assistant to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support for banquets and events.

Responsibilities:

  • Enter and retrieve information from computer databases to update records and answer inquiries from guests.
  • Transmit information or documents using a computer, mail, or facsimile machine.
  • Operate standard office equipment and prepare letters, memos, and other documents using word processing software.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including date stamping and distributing incoming mail.
  • Create and maintain computer- and paper-based filing and organization systems for records and reports.
  • Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities and business transactions.
  • Enter and locate work-related information using computers and point of sale systems.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in administrative support or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
