The Nursing Unit Supervisor collaborates with the Director of Nursing to ensure the provision of high-quality care, aiming for positive clinical outcomes and satisfaction for patients, families, and staff.

Position Highlights:
*Reports directly to the Director of Nursing
*Oversees, guides, and directs the clinical operations of nursing units during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, practice standards, and regulations.
*Facilitates the implementation of care delivery models and processes
*Works alongside the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff levels for safe, 24/7 care, with a focus on minimizing overtime and agency personnel usage.
*Engages in staff mentorship, recruitment, new hire orientation, and recommends promotions, transfers, and terminations as necessary.

Requirements:
*Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
*Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.
*Minimum of three years of full-time or equivalent clinical experience is preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience in long-term care is preferred. One year in a management or supervisory role is preferred.

Compensation:
$40.00 to $43.00 per hour
