Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Water Resilience Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading multi-disciplined teams of professionals on large design projects, developing strong client relationships, and managing the delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the performance expectations of the client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multi-disciplined teams of professionals on large design projects, including stormwater engineering, water resources, and hazard mitigation projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, including identifying business opportunities and developing proposals.
  • Manage the delivery of projects, including scheduling, coordinating resources, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the performance expectations of the client.
  • Perform engineering analysis, develop preliminary and detailed designs of stormwater facilities, and write specifications and construction documents.
  • Participate in business development, including identifying new business opportunities and developing proposals.

Requirements

  • BS or MS degree in Water Resources or Stormwater Engineering.
  • At least 10 years of experience in stormwater engineering, with a focus on coastal communities.
  • Virginia PE License, or ability to obtain a VA PE through comity.
  • Progressive experience conducting business development and project delivery for stormwater and resilience projects.
  • Knowledge of USACE, Virginia DOT, FEMA, AWWA standards and procedures for design.
  • Knowledge of coastal engineering design, including revetments, groins, beach nourishment, marsh creation, bulkheads, breakwaters, and dredging.
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills.
  • Experience using ArcGIS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation.
  • Knowledge of hydrodynamic modeling programs, including PC-SWMM, MIKE, HEC-RAS, and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
