Therapeutic Recreation Music Experience Leader

This role involves designing and leading diverse therapeutic recreation activities to enhance sensory motor, cognitive, and psychosocial skills. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a coordinator.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute group activities and one-to-one sessions to enhance resident/patient skills.
  • Guarantee accurate documentation of assessments, progress notes, attendance records, and discharge summaries in accordance with regulations.
  • Enter care plan data and participate in RCP meetings.
  • Transport residents to activity areas, set up spaces, and maintain equipment inventory.
  • Operate company vehicles for outings and attend staff meetings.
  • Showcase leadership qualities, mentor residents, and encourage participation in recreational programs.
  • Cultivate group dynamics, manage interpersonal needs, and evaluate resident progress.
  • Participate in community outings, ensuring resident safety.
  • Obtain and maintain necessary credentials to offer music therapy services.

Compensation Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, dependent on location and qualifications.
