Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Recreation Therapist Specialist to join our team at Mozaic Senior Life. This role is responsible for organizing and conducting therapeutic recreation activities to enhance sensory motor, cognitive, and psychosocial skills in our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and carry out group activities and one-to-one sessions to promote resident engagement and skill development.
  • Complete documentation of resident assessment, progress notes, and attendance records in compliance with State and Federal regulations.
  • Input MDS/care plan data and attend Resident Care Planning (RCP) meetings.
  • Transport residents to scheduled activity areas, prepare activity spaces, and maintain inventory of equipment and supplies.
  • Drive Mozaic Senior Life vehicles as required for outings and participate in staff meetings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and TRD Certification
  • No experience necessary
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively, handle multiple demands and deadlines, and utilize various software packages.
