Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Indirect Procurement Technology team at Walmart. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and deploying complex functional objects around the world, analyzing and designing SAP applications, and managing the progress of technical objects in a project.

About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from developing and enhancing products to defining vision and strategies for your product family. You will be responsible for building collaborative relationships with key partners, analyzing data sets, and recommending solutions to stakeholders. You will also have the opportunity to build a team environment by encouraging innovation, training, and mentoring others on the team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance products to align business and technical needs
  • Analyze customer and data to turn product insights into actionable initiatives
  • Determine rollout strategy and maintain configurations
  • Manage risks and adapt to changing project requirements
  • Build collaborative relationships with key partners
  • Analyze data sets and recommend solutions to stakeholders
  • Build a team environment by encouraging innovation, training, and mentoring others
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of experience in software engineering or a related field. Alternatively, you can have 4 years of experience in software engineering or a related field. You will also need to have experience in identifying key metrics, conducting rigorous explorative process mining and data analysis, and building business cases that drive decision making and business prioritization.

Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. A Master's degree in Computer Science is also preferred.
