Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with React Native and Java expertise to join our Walmart Global Tech team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and building intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that drive business results and enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality user interfaces and mobile applications using React Native and backend using Java, with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and prioritize project requirements.
  • Write clean, modular, and well-documented code that adheres to Walmart's coding standards and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure the highest quality of software development.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in full stack development and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Work closely with QA engineers to ensure that all software is thoroughly tested and meets the highest standards of quality.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with other teams, such as DevOps and Infrastructure, to ensure seamless integration of software solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to the growth and development of the engineering team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on full stack development using React Native and Java.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React Native, Java, and related technologies such as Redux, React Router, and GraphQL.
  • Experience with modern front-end build tools such as Webpack and Babel.
  • Familiarity with back-end technologies such as RESTful APIs, and Java-based technologies.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies and version control systems such as Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
