We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Operations to join our team at City Wide Facility Solutions. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing, developing, and leading a team of Facility Service Managers to deliver exceptional results and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Effectively manage and develop a team of Facility Service Managers to achieve annual revenues and profits, manage expenses, and meet/exceed overall financial management of operations.
- Identify, hire, and train operational employees, including Facility Service Managers and Night Managers, to ensure a high-performing team.
- Develop and maintain positive client relationships, achieving client retention above 90% and driving cross-selling opportunities with the sales team.
- Ensure Independent Contractors are compliant with requirements to service City Wide clients and meet clients' scope of work.
- Participate in all new client starts and ensure building inspections are completed, followed-up with, and all client data is maintained in CRM.
- Responsible for people development, ensuring all 60-day reviews, Level 5 meetings, and annual reviews are completed with operational employees.
- Work in the field with Facility Service Managers each week and participate as backfill to the FSM as needed.
- Travel within market, up to 50%.
- 5+ years of experience in a sales, account management, or operations role with increased responsibility.
- Demonstrated track record of success managing a sales and/or account management team.
- Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to influence others to perform their jobs effectively and make decisions.
- Coaching and development skills to provide guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas.
- Time management and organization skills to effectively handle multiple tasks.
- Professional demeanor and aptitude to grasp the concept of projects and prioritize work accordingly.
- Conflict resolution skills to deal with others in an antagonistic situation.
