Licensed Practical Nurse Ortho Nursing TMR

The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to residents in an orthopedic setting. This role requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care and a collaborative approach to working with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities- Administer nursing care to designated residents under the direction of a registered nurse
- Coordinate and support the activities of certified nurse assistants
- Participate in the direct care of residents, following the specific approaches outlined in the plan of care
- High School diploma or GED
- Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing
- Currently registered in New York State as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Long-term care experience preferred
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to push, lift, and transfer residents as needed. The nurse may be exposed to disagreeable conditions, including odors, communicable diseases, and injuries from residents or equipment.
