Racial Justice Advocate Leader

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to serve as the Director of the Education Opportunities Project at the LAWYERS' COMMITTEE FOR CIVIL RIGHTS UNDER LAW. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in promoting racial justice and educational equity for Black communities and other communities of color. As the Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the project's litigation and programs, developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy to achieve our mission. Your expertise will be essential in leading a team of professionals to create positive change through impact litigation, public policy advocacy, innovative programs and initiatives, and public education.
You will work closely with the Chief Counsel to identify priorities, develop strategies, and ensure effective implementation. Your skills and experience will be crucial in building partnerships with coalition partners, representing the organization, and communicating with diverse audiences.
