Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment at client sites with minimal disruption.
  • Perform maintenance, monitoring, and repairs to Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems to keep facilities up to applicable standards.
  • Ensure the availability of an adequate operating inventory of tools and supplies, and develop sources for stock materials related to maintaining the facility.
  • Record readings and make adjustments to ensure proper operation of equipment.
  • Maintain equipment by cleaning, inspecting, calibrating, and changing parts to maintain HVAC systems and associated equipment at optimum performance levels.
  • Comply with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials, and maintain a clean and safe workplace.
  • Review monthly client service request summaries to pinpoint and correct recurrent operational problems.
  • Evaluate vendors and suppliers on a regular basis with regard to quality and competitive pricing.
  • Prepare and submit purchase order requests, and verify the accuracy of deliveries for count, pricing, and description.
  • Perform periodic checks of tool and instrument inventory, and monitor the quality and pricing of maintenance work performed by outside contractors.
  • Lead and/or assist with event setup/teardown activities, including electrical, audio visual, coordinating with security or other tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a vocational/trade program preferred.
  • 2+ years of similar working experience.
  • Operating Engineers license (SMA) or equivalent.
  • Certification as a Universal Technician for CFC's (or within 90 days of employment).
  • Ability to analyze the operation of various systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions, and take corrective action as required.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • The individual in this role must be available for Call-in work.
  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to bend, sit, kneel, squat, stand, reach, and lay as required to access equipment components for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Estimated total compensation range for this position is $52,000.00 - $55,307.00 USD per year. The pay range listed is a total compensation range including bonus, if applicable. The provided range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
